First time we met
Februari 16, 2019They say love finds you when you least expect it — and for us, it began with a simple favor and a bit of fate. My fiancée’s cousin had asked her to pick something up at our local children’s playground, Monkey Town. What she didn’t know was that it was a little setup. I was going to be there too. She happened to be in town under sadder circumstances, attending a family funeral. But in the midst of grief, something beautiful quietly began. That day at Monkey Town, we saw each other for the first time. No grand gestures or romantic fireworks — just a moment, a glance, and something that felt different. Looking back, it was the beginning of everything.
Our First Date
March 31, 2019Not long after that first meeting, we had what you might call our first unofficial date — though at the time, it just felt like a casual get-together. We met up at her cousin’s place, where we shared a meal, had a few drinks, and played games late into the evening. Between the laughter and the conversation, we started to really get to know each other. Later that night, we went to a party together — and that’s when the magic really started to unfold. We danced the night away, carefree and completely in sync. It was one of those nights that lingers in your memory, the kind that gently whispers, something special is happening here.
Our First Vacation
Jul 2, 2019That summer, after countless conversations, late-night chats, and finally making it official, we took our first vacation as a couple — to the sunny shores of Palma de Mallorca, Spain. It was more than just a holiday; it was a chance to truly enjoy each other’s company, away from everything else. We explored, relaxed, laughed, and made memories we still talk about today. It was during that trip that something deeper began to grow between us. With every sunset and every shared moment, we felt more connected — more us. It was the beginning of a bond that only kept getting stronger.
The Proposal
Feb 14, 2025After years filled with love, laughter, growing together, and building a beautiful life — including welcoming our little ones into the world — Rachid knew there was no one else he wanted to spend forever with. So on February 14th, 2025, surrounded by all the meaning that day holds, he asked Stephanie to marry him. It felt like the perfect moment — not because of the date or setting, but because of everything we’d already shared: the highs, the challenges, the quiet, ordinary days that turned out to be extraordinary just because we were together. Stephanie said yes — and now, here we are, writing the next chapter of our story.
